DigaTech means 'DigaTech Media Ltd', ‘We’, ‘Us’, ‘Our’.

DigaTech receives and collects data when clients and users visit our website or offer us data and information by filling in forms via:

DigaTech collects, holds, stores, processes, uses and discloses data and information to:


  • Provide clients and users with our company services.
  • Uphold and preserve our relationship with clients and users and to fulfil contractual obligations we may have with a client or user.
  • Assist in supplying us with a true understanding of a client or user’s business, needs, history, past and future growth, future prospects and to offer a suitable solution.
  • Direct-market DigaTech’s services to clients and users with services and updates via telephone, email, social media and SMS - (In such cases, clients will be offered the opportunity to unsubscribe from future communications).


How We Store Data

 

DigaTech stores all data in a cloud-based CRM System which is accessible only by our consultants to enable us to provide clients and users with our services. By utilising the services and security of a cloud-based CRM system enables us to store data correctly and securely. 


How Long We Store Data and Information


DigaTech will generally not retain data and information for longer than we deem necessary. However, as it is not uncommon for clients and users to reconnect with DigaTech after a period of time, by agreeing to our terms & conditions and privacy policy, clients and users agree that we may retain data and information until such time as a client or user requests via email that we delete a client or user record from our CRM. Following the receipt of a request via email, we will delete all records within 30 days and refrain from future contact and engagement.


Your Rights


In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to:


  • Be informed about the data and information we have collected and processes on you.
  • Request access to the data and information we have collected and processes on you.
  • Modify the data and information we have collected and processes on you.
  • Request that we limit processing the data and information we have collected on you.
  • Request in certain circumstances that we delete the data and information we have collected and processes on you.
  • Reject being subjected to automated profiling and decision making
  • legally object to the dispensation of your data and information following a legitimate public, legal or government request.
  • Withdraw your consent.


Accessing Your Data and Information


Subject to circumstances and exemptions, you may make a request to access the data and information we hold on you by contacting our Data Protection Dept via email at 'membership @ digatechnology.com'.


Prior to providing such data and information, DigaTech will need to verify your identity for which we must be completely satisfied that an actual individual is making the request and we will require additional information in regards to the reason for your request. As we may be required to retrieve data and information from servers prior to reviewing such data and information before a release, please be aware that it may take a realistic amount of time to process any request for access. 


In certain circumstances, we may refuse access to the data and information we hold on you if it would affect the privacy of other persons, clients, organisations or legal requests where we are not legally permitted to do so, or if it breaches any confidentiality that is attached to such data and information.

 

In most circumstances, DigaTech will not ask a client or user to pay any fee to access personal data and information, however we may charge a reasonable fee if your request is clearly unfounded, unwarranted, extreme or excessive. In such cases, we will request a reasonable fee prior commencement and should the fee not be paid prior to commencement, we may refuse to comply with the request for accessing data and information.


Request to Remove Data and Information


Should you wish to request that we remove your data and information from our CRM, please contact DigaTech with your full details, contact information and reason for your request. Data removal requests can be made by contacting our Data Protection Dept via email at 'membership @ digatechnology.com' with the heading  ATT: Data Protection Dept – Removal Request.
